*Green with Envy*

Hey darlings!
MAN! I've been inactive on this blog now!

I thought I'd pre-written a bunch of posts and timed them when they would go up. Apperently I didn't.... D'oh!

Oh well! I'm here now with yet another NotD post! I'm still on quite a nailpolish obssesion phase!

This time it's my newest polish. I've wanted this polish for sooo long! We didn't ger this shade in Sweden so I found it on eBay from the US.
It's the Maybelline Color Show nailpolish in Green with Envy! It's a minty green/marzipan colored polish.
I think I've finally found my HG mint nailpolish! I don't know how many I bought this summer in my pursuit of finding my HG mint polish, MANY!

I hope that this will be the one!
Here it is:

As I said I found it on ebay.com. Living in Sweden I tend to stay away frrdering from the US because I risk my order getting stuck in customs and then I have to pay an extra fee.
But also living in Sweden we don't get a lot of thing here.
However this time I risked it and all went very well! I bought it on tuesday and got it on Wendesay the week after! SUPERFAST! :O

I don't know how i feel about mint-y nail in autumn...
How do you feel about it?
Do you like light, bright color for autumn or should they be dark?
:)

NotW Dolce and Gabbana in Stromboli

Hi guys!
As you probobly have noticed I'm in a nail phase in my life right now!
I buy so many nailpolishes :)

And here is a nailpolish I bought when i was in Rome the last week in May.
It's from Dolce and Gabbana and it's called Stomboli.

It's a gel-type nailpolish with a black base and then it has a lot of gold glitters in it. But it dosen't look just like gold glitters, in some lights it looks almost like an olive green.
It's a gorgeous nailpolish and it lasts on the nails for like a week without chipping!

Have you tried any of the Dolce and Gabbana nailpolishes or makeup from them?

EotD: Polished Penny

Hi!

So here I am with another eye of the day for you. I'm trying out some new Wet n Wild stuff I'd just gotten the single eyeshadow in Penny :-).
So I used the Penny shadow all over the lid, the dark matte brown fron the WnW Vanity Palette, the matte highlight shade from the same palette and the darkest definer shade from the Petal Pusher palette as my eyeliner.

I really like this look for a spring-y neutral look with a little kick from the coppery Penny colour.
Sorry for the odd looking photos. I had a big flash in my eyes. I hope you can see it anyway!

What are your favorite Wet n Wild products?

NotD: Olé Caliente

Hi!

So I'm here with another nail of the day.
This time it's Essie's Olé Caliente.
It's a beautyful raspberry red corall-ish shade. I only needed one coat but because I like it really covered I used two coats. And my Seche Vite top coat on top.

This polish lasts for a long time even without a base coat.
My only problem with it was that when I took it off it had stained my nails... So i didn't like that. So you need a base coat with this polish.

Have you tried any of the Essie polishes? What do you think about them?

EotD: Sunburned Pink

Hi!

My EotD using the Wet n Wild trio in I'm getting Sunburned. I didn't use it like it says on the shadows. There it says that I should use the gold all over the lid, the brown in the crease and the pink as a highlighter.

I took the pink all over the lid, a bit of the brown in the crease and a cream coloured highlighter on the browbone.
And then my MaxFactor Liquid Eye Effect eyeliner pencil in brown.

Using the pink on the eyelid felt much more like spring for me then using the gold colour.

I'm very happy with how this came out. I just hope that you can see that from my photos :)

Hope you liked it!

NotD: Tomatos in the Grass

Hi dolls!

This is my Nail of the day/week with the L'Oreal nail polish in Green Couture and the Depend Cracked Effect in Orange.

I called it Tomatos in the grass because a friend of mine said that he tought that it looked like tomatos lying in the grass :P

I liked wearing this bacause it felt like summer with the green and the orange.
This lasted me for almost a week before it started to chip a little. Of course I used my trusted Seche Vite top coat! :)

What do you guys think about crackle nail polish?

What do you think? WnW video series?

Hi my pretty darlings!

So I was thinking about doing a series on my youtube channel about my Wet n Wild colletion. I have some Wet n Wild and I really love that brand.
It's a brand that's really hard to fins in Sweden. There are a few places where you can find it but they are few and far between.

I have a small colletion now that I tought I'd do a series of reviews. One video with my trios, one with my singles and so on.

What do you guys think about that? Would you enjoy watching those?

Please comment so I know what you think! :)

Vlog: I'm going to Rome!

Hi!

NotD: Adina

Hi!
It's time for another NotW. My new and first Zoya nailpolish in the colour Adina.
It's a beautiful duocrome nailpolish that in some lights look olive green and in other lights it's a lilac-y purple. It's just gorgeous!
I found this polish at my food store ICA MAXI when I when shopping for food last week. I was so shocked when I saw that they'd gotten the Zoya polishes! So I had to get one! And I'm happy I did! It cost me approx €13. These polishes are great! They last forever! I had this on for 6 days and it had barely chipped!
I had 3 coats of the polish and then my Seche Vite top coat on top.

I really recommend these polishes!

Have you tried any Zoya polishes and if so in what colour? Do you recommend me trying a specific colour that you really like?

FotD/EotD: Nutty Neutral

Hi lovelys!

So today I have a little Face of the Day for you. Or should I say it's a mix between a face and an eye of the day.
Yesterday when I got home from work I had some goodies waiting for me in the mail. I had a Wet n Wild single eyeshadow in Nutty, a Wet n Wild eyeshadow trio in I'm getting Sunburned and the 88 warm eyeshadow palette.
So when I did my makeup this morning I wanted to try some of the stuff out.

I desided to use Nutty all over the eyelid and then a matte reddish brown from the 88 palette in the crease and a light white colour as a highlight on the browbone. And then my Max Factor Liquid Eye Effect eye pencil on the upper lashline.
Finishing off with my Isadora inner liner kajal in Black and my Lancome Hypnoze Precions Cells mascara.

The photo's taken with my phone at work, so sorry for the very very bright pic on the top.
I really like this look. I'm going for a little more of a neutral looking makeup now so this palette will work great with it! :)

Review: VIVO Baked Shimmer Palette in Chocolate Box

Hi dolls!
Here comes my review of the Baked Shimmer Palette in Chocolate Box from VIVO Cosmetics.
The palette contains 1 baked blush and 4 baked eyeshadows.

Pic taken in natural light without flash.

Pic taken inside with flash.

As you can see from the photos all the shadows and the blush are shimmery, as the name of the plaette suggests.
All the swatches are made without a primer under.

The blush is a very pretty pink shade with brown bronzey veins in it. The bronze veins can be good so that the pink dosen't become so strong and overwhelming.

The shadows are nice and pigmented and works just fins with a primer like Urban Decay Primer Potion or NYX HD eyeshadow base, at least for me.
Once the shadow is on your eyelids it won't budge!
I almost had trouble getting it off with just my face wash and water, it usally works well with other eyeshadows, but with these shadows you will need a good makeup remover to get it off.

I really like these shadows and I'm going to get another one of them. There are 3 different palettes but as I've understood the blush is the same in all 3.

You can get the palettes here. They costs £6 and I think they're worth every penny! :)

*VIVO Cosmetics Haul*

Hey dolls long time no see!
I know I've been terrible at updating this blog, I know and I'm sorry. I just have had a lot to do. I also have 2 other swedish blogs that I try to blog on as often as I can as well.

However on to the subject at hand here!

I have a little haul for you all today. It's a VIVO Cosmetics haul!
VIVO is a budget brand from the UK. It's only been avalible at Tesco stores in the UK before. But now thay have a website where you can buy their stuff.

So here is what I bought.

When I made my order thay had a free gift kind of special. You'd get a free gift every day för 7 days. Different gift each day. Since I tought I'd put my order in on the first day but didn't, then when I came back the day after that free gift from the day before was still there. So I got free gifts from 2 days and when I opened my package I saw that there was another free gift in there. So in the end I got 3 free gifts and not 2. It was the false eyelashes and the blush that was the only ones I tought I'd get and then the lipgloss was in there too! :-)

I don't have any swatches in now because I've haven't had any time to try it out yet. But let me know if you want then I'll try to do a review with swatches.

Love, Jessie
